08/23/2006Mauell Technology in the Russian Ural Region

Russia awarded a contract to Helmut Mauell GmbH for the delivery of large-screen rear projection modules including the appropriate visualization systems. These modules will be employed in the grid control center of Yekaterinburg's local energy supply company, providing the grid operator with the data needed for the efficient control of its supply area.

Yekaterinburg, capital of the Ural region, is the third largest city of Russia and the administrative center of the Sverdlovsk Oblast. Located in the Middle Ural, Yekaterinburg is on the border between Europe and Asia. Extremely reach in natural resources, particular in iron ore and other metal deposits, oil and gas reserves, Russia’s Ural region provides the base for some of the world's leading metal mining companies, which are of course dedicated to maintaining and strengthening their dominant position in the market.
