Transmission & Distribution / Smart Grids Europe 2012

Electricity Distribution Exhibition and Conference

09.-11. October, 2012 in Amsterdam, Netherlands

The trade show Transmission & Distribution / Smart Grids Europe - Electricity Distribution Exhibition and Conference is hosted at Amsterdam, Netherlands. The tradeshow's frequency is annual, rotating location, 2012 with metering, billing / crm europe.

Amsterdam RAI is the venue where Transmission & Distribution / Smart Grids Europe is held. The trade show organizer responsible for organisation and management of Transmission & Distribution / Smart Grids Europe is Synergy Events.
2004 is the year of the foundation of Transmission & Distribution / Smart Grids Europe.

Transmission & Distribution/Smart Grid Europe 2012 will set a stage for the key European energy experts to scrutinise newest smart grid developments and discuss investments in both capacity infrastructure and decentralised automated network. Updates will be given on the current regulatory & financial mechanisms and what efforts utilities and governments need to make to transition to ‘smart grid’.

The future of the smart grid
Utilities across the region need to comply with rigorous energy efficiency mandates to integrate larger percentage of renewable energies into the grid. A new report from GTM Research forecasts the cumulative European smart grid technology market to hit 3.1 billion Euros in 2012, with that number set to increase 120% to 6.8 billion Euros in 2016.

Smart grid has many definitions; principally, it is about energy efficiency & reliability and technological advancements that will change how the network is operated and how electricity is produced, stored and consumed. In the future we will use renewable power (wind, hydro, solar, etc.) in a more integrated way to create electricity; we will also produce it at home, we will use it to power our electrical vehicles, and our home in-built sensors will automatically manage when appliances are turned on and off.

We would like to invite you to our Exhibition Stand P07 in Hall 3 at the Transmission & Distribution Europe 2012 in Amsterdam.
