On December, 2012, Helmut Mauell, founder and owner of Helmut Mauell GmbH, and Gerd Lesser, chairman of the Bilfinger Power Systems GmbH management board, signed the takeover agreement. The medium-sized company with headquarters in the town of Velbert is now part of the international engineering and service group Bilfinger SE.

Child aid organization "Wülfrather Kinder in Not" was happy to receive a donation over 3935.- €. The money was passed to Wolfgang Peetz of the "Wülfrather Kinder in Not" initiative on his visit to Helmut Mauell GmbH. Regular support of a charitable project for the benefit of local children is a social commitment of Mauell GmbH employees and management. "Children are our future and their support and encouragement is of great importance to us all", says Angela Schütze, initiator of this initiative.

For the 2009 Confed Cup South Africa, Mauell GmbH in Velbert supplied a surveillance system to ensure smooth and safe proceedings of the games. The Confed Cup can be regarded as a test for the participating teams and the employed technologies. For such large crowded events, safety of participants and spectators must always be given first priority.

Russia awarded a contract to Helmut Mauell GmbH for the delivery of large-screen rear projection modules including the appropriate visualization systems. These modules will be employed in the grid control center of Yekaterinburg's local energy supply company, providing the grid operator with the data needed for the efficient control of its supply area.
Yekaterinburg, capital of the Ural region, is the third largest city of Russia and the administrative center of the Sverdlovsk Oblast. Located in the Middle Ural, Yekaterinburg is on the border between Europe and Asia.
